The vapic Clean Box is the innovative solution for KLT cleaning using an aqueous-based process. The compact chamber system combines energy-efficient spray cleaning, rotation-assisted drying and high process reliability in a closed system. It is ideally suited to the cost-effective internal and external cleaning of small load carriers, blister packs and metal containers – either directly at your site or as part of vapic’s contract cleaning service.

Cycle time

Spray cleaning with a rotating product carrier to ensure even wetting of all surfaces, as well as high-performance hot-air drying for short cycle times of between 6 and 9 minutes

Procedure

  • Pre-wash / Spray cleaning
    High-pressure nozzles spray the cleaning fluid precisely onto all surfaces. The rotation of the load carrier ensures that the inner and outer surfaces of the KLTs are wetted evenly.
    → Objective: Removal of coarse dirt, oil films and particles.
  • Main cleaning
    Intensive main cleaning is carried out using an aqueous medium and optimised parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rate). Supported by the movement of the product carrier, even complex geometries are reliably cleaned.
  • Rinsing
    Rinsing steps remove residues of the cleaning solution. Optionally, ultra-fine filtration or online particle monitoring can be integrated to ensure reproducible cleanliness.
  • Drying
    A powerful hot-air circulation system dries the containers quickly and evenly. The rotation of the basket ensures that no water marks are left behind – even in recesses or corners.

Processing

Efficient media treatment for consistently high cleaning quality

The Clean Box operates with a closed-loop water system and energy-efficient treatment components. Multi-stage filtration reliably removes dirt particles and significantly extends the service life of the cleaning solution.

Standard features include large-capacity coarse dirt traps and a two-stage filter system for continuous cleaning fluid purification. Optional ultra-fine filters and gradual bath renewal ensure stable process conditions even when high purity requirements apply.

An integrated oil separator reduces the load on the cleaning medium in the event of oil-containing contamination. The system can be fitted with automatic water top-up and bath monitoring to minimise media loss and maintenance requirements.
