Component cleaning for maximum cleanliness, efficiency and flexibility
vapic’s contract cleaning service is a cost-effective and technically advanced alternative to operating your own cleaning system. With this professional contract cleaning service, companies can have their components cleaned without having to invest in their own systems. vapic’s component cleaning service is a particularly suitable solution for prototypes, pre-series and small-batch production.
With over 15 years’ experience in contract cleaning and over 30 years in component cleaning, a wide range of equipment and state-of-the-art cleaning technology, vapic offers the right solution for a variety of requirements. Whether dealing with particulate or film-like contaminants, complex geometries or sensitive materials – every component is cleaned meticulously to a documented standard of quality and tested for cleanliness.
Industrial component cleaning is crucial to the quality and functionality of components in many sectors. These include, amongst others, the automotive industry, medical technology and the aerospace sector. Through its in-house residual contamination analysis laboratory, vapic ensures reproducible results and supports compliance with relevant standards.
With technical expertise, modern infrastructure and rapid responsiveness, vapic stands for professional component cleaning of the highest standard – efficient, safe and ready for immediate use.
The benefits of using vapic’s contract cleaning service
When your own facilities are operating at full capacity or undergoing maintenance, contract cleaning ensures your ability to deliver and prevents production downtime. In the event of machine breakdowns or peaks in order volume, it provides short-term relief. At the same time, you can postpone the installation of your own facility whilst vapic reliably takes care of component cleaning. The use of contract cleaning is common practice across various industrial sectors, such as the automotive industry, medical technology and aerospace.
Contract cleaning also offers a flexible solution for new production runs or development projects: cleaning processes can be tested, validated and integrated directly into production – a typical use case, particularly in the development phase. Companies benefit from state-of-the-art technology, fast turnaround times and consistently high quality.
With vapic, you get more than just a service – you gain a partner who sees component cleaning as part of your value creation. For maximum process reliability, economic efficiency and guaranteed clean components.
Quality management you can rely on
We test the cleanliness of your components for film-like contaminants such as oils or cooling lubricants using surface energy and residual fluorescence tests.
We analyse particulate contamination in our own residual contamination laboratory in accordance with VDA Volume 19.1; the definition of technical cleanliness encompasses the number and size of contaminant particles that may remain on the surfaces of a component after cleaning.
Chemical purity test
We analyse film contaminants such as oils or cooling lubricants by means of test ink and contact angle measurements.
Fluorescence testing for residues
We also use residual fluorescence tests to check for even the tiniest residues on components – ensuring inspection down to the microscopic level.
Particulate residue analysis
In our in-house RSA laboratory, we carry out residual contamination analyses in accordance with VDA 19.1 and customer-specified standards.
Customised testing strategy
The frequency and rigour of inspections are determined on a project-by-project basis. This enables us to guarantee that every component meets your exact quality requirements.
The right cleaning system for every application
We rely on a state-of-the-art and versatile range of machinery to offer you first-class contract cleaning services.
We currently operate six systems using aqueous cleaning agents, hydrocarbons and halogenated hydrocarbons. As parts cleaning systems, they cater for applications ranging from small components to pallet-sized loads. Water-based cleaning media are widely used in many industrial applications and offer advantages in terms of cost and environmental sustainability. Depending on the component and the degree of soiling, various methods are employed, ranging from degreasing to ultra-fine cleaning.
These include immersion processes as well as ultrasonic cleaning. This utilises high-frequency sound and is particularly suitable for delicate parts or those with complex soiling. Our machinery is also designed to ensure safe post-treatment. Vacuum drying helps to prevent staining and corrosion on cleaned parts.

Requirements analysis
Please complete the form below as fully as possible. Try to provide all relevant information about your components and your cleaning requirements. You can provide any missing information at any time.
Based on the details you provide, we will draw up an initial, non-binding quotation within 48 hours.
Trial cleaning
Based on the project assessment, we carry out a targeted test cleaning, initially in the laboratory and subsequently on the appropriate plant. In doing so, we determine the optimum cleaning method for the cleaning process, taking into account the type of components, the degree of contamination and the required cleanliness standards, as well as the appropriate cleaning medium: tailored to the type of contamination, the nature of the components and the desired level of cleanliness.
